It has been 13 years since Shah Rukh Khan's 'hocky' players were introduced through 'Chak De India', and here's where they are now
The movie which only spoke about patriotism, and the one and only 'mulk' 'India', 'Chak De India', has completed 13 years today. The film presented many girls through Shah Rukh Khan as the lead. These 'hockey players' have all found a destiny of their own 13 years later.
Remember Anaita Nair, Shubhi Mehta or Arya Menon? Well, you would have definitely not forgotten Vidya Malvade, Sagarika Ghatge, Chitrashi Rawat, Tanya Abrol, Seema Azmi or Shilpa Shukla. In less than 'sattar minute', we take you through the journey of these actresses from 'Chak De India', to what they are doing now.
While a few of these actors are married, some others are finding stability in the glamour world itself. Here, take a glimpse:
1. Anaita Nair

The 'Aliya Bose' from West Bengal tried her luck in Bollywood with films like 'Well Done Abba', 'Aasayein', 'Dum Maaro Dum' and 'Force'. Anaita Nair is now married and settled in Hong Kong. She also has a daughter named Alia, and is a hairstylist by profession.
2. Sagarika Ghatge

The 'Preethi Sabarwal' from Chandigarh went on to make quite a name for herself. Married to cricketer Zaheer Khan, Sagarika was last seen in the web show 'BOSS: Baap Of Special Services,' which released in 2019.
3. Shubhi Mehta

Shubhi Mehta, who played 'Gunjan Lakhani' from Andhra Pradesh, is no longer a part of the glamour world. She got married in 2016 and is working for a corporate firm.
4. Chitrashi Rawat

Chitrashi Rawat, who played 'Komal Chautala' from Haryana, was seen in 'Fashion' and 'Luck'. However, she is best remembered for her stint in the TV show 'FIR' featuring Kavita Kaushik in the lead role. Chitrashi's Insatgram profile hints that she is currently in the modelling business.
5. Vidya Malvade

'Vidya Sharma' from Madhya Pradesh led the team in 'Chak De India'. Vidya Malvade is still active in the acting world and was last seen in the Zee5 web show 'Kaali 2'.
6. Tanya Abrol

Remember the angry 'Balbir Kaur' from Chandigarh? Tanya Abrol went on to gain fame through the film and appear in 'CID' and various Punjabi films. She was last seen in 'Bareilly Ki Beti', which had received quite a few acclaims.
7. Arya Menon

Arya Menon, who portrayed 'Gul Iqbal' from Uttar Pradesh, is now working behind the cameras, in the production department. She had featured in a few commercials after 'Chak De India'.
8. Seema Azmi
)
Seema Azmi, who played 'Rani Dispotta' from Jharkhand, was seen in Sunny Deol's 'Mohalla Assi'. More recently, she appeared in the Hindi TV show 'Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinka'.
9. Shilpa Shukla

Shilpa Shukla, who played the controversial character 'Bindiya Naik' from Maharashtra, had landed her solo film 'BA Pass' right after 'Chak De India'. She has been a popular face in the glamour world and was last seen in Karisma Kapoor's debut web show 'Mentalhood'.
