Sonakshi Sinha bids adieu to Maldives with stunning photo

Of late, most Bollywood celebrities took off to the island nation of the Maldives to spend some quality time with family and friends, even partners, amid the scenic locations and pristine waters of the holiday destination. 

From couples Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar, Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi, Kajal Aggarwal-Gautam Kitchlu, rumoured lovers Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani, Tara Sutaria-Aadar Jain, Taapse Pannu-Mathias Boe to stars Rakulpreet Singh, Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif, all these popular personalities visited the Maldives in recent time. 

One among the many mentioned above was Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha.

However, on Thursday, the 'Dabbang' actor bid goodbye to the Maldives, her favourite vacation spot, with a heavy heart. Alongside a photo of herself in a red dress, a beach hat sitting on the edge of a pool while the photographer clicked a picture, Sonakshi wrote, "Everytime I leave Maldives a piece of my heart stays back! Until we meet again..." Sonakshi posted on her verified Instagram account.

The actress, who was vacationing in the Maldives over the past few days, has been flooding Instagram with beautiful photographs of herself from the beaches.

Sonakshi has also shared that she is an "island girl" and is the "happiest in the water".
