Global icon and Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra is known for her impeccable fashion sense and fabulous sartorial choices. And so, when it was her turn to be a presenter at digitally held Fashion Awards 2020, the actress did not disappoint with her look.

Even though the red carpet wasn't rolled out, like in most cases when such war ceremonies are organised, it didn't stop Priyanka from putting her best fashion foot forward for her virtual debut as the British Fashion Council’s new Ambassador for Positive Change.

In fact, Priyanka not only managed to sweep onlookers off the floor with her carefully designed look, but the star also made a powerful fashion statement with it.

Dressed in a quirky white super pantsuit sourced from the atelier of designer Kaushik Velendra, best known for his shoulder-enhancing menswear suits, Priyanka gave major fashion goals as she made an appearance in the attire. The white outfit featured enhanced black shoulders and a plunging neckline.

The actress, who looked nothing less than a boss-lady in the customised monochrome suit, rounded off her look with a glittering hand accessory, diamond studs and hair styled in a neat bun.

Talking about Priyanka's 'super power suit', the Bengaluru-born, London-based designer told British Vogue in an exclusive interview, "It's not just a power suit, it's a super power suit. It's meant to change your posture and to give you absolute confidence."

On Friday, Priyanka took to her Instagram to share an appreciation post for the designer as she flaunted the attire that fitted on her like a glove.

She wrote, "One of my priorities as the BFC Ambassador for Positive Change is to celebrate the extraordinary talent of South Asian designers. Tonight I’m wearing @kaushik_velendra, a South Asian born designer who is breaking stereotypes, pushing for more sustainable fashion, and changing the way South Asians in the industry are perceived. Not to mention, he opens up his studio space in London to South Asian design students who are struggling to find a place to create. Thank you for tonight’s amazing look. I can’t wait to see all the bright places your career takes you! And a special thank you to @luxurylaw for introducing me to this supremely talented human (sic)."

Meanwhile, the actress and her pop star husband Nick Jonas celebrated their second Hindu wedding anniversary on Thursday.

The couple took to their verified Instagram accounts to wish each other on their special day and shared photographs from their Hindu wedding ceremony, which took place in Rajasthan in 2018.

Nick wrote, "Two days, two weddings now two years. I was so honored to get to marry @priyankachopra in her home country, in a traditional Hindu wedding. I can`t believe how lucky I am, and how quickly the time has gone by. Happy Hindu anniversary beautiful."

Commenting on his post, wife Priyanka wrote: "My real life Bollywood hero. I love you handsome."

The actress also shared beautiful wedding photographs and wrote, "2 years down... forever to go @nickjonas."

Nick and Priyanka had tied the knot in December 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. The wedding took place following traditional Hindu and Christian ceremonies.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is currently shooting for "Text For You", which also stars Celine Dion and Sam Heughan.
