With the onset of the #MeToo movement in India, several filmmakers and producers have become conscious about their films' content.

Recently, Dharma Productions' head honcho and one of the most popular Bollywood filmmakers Karan Johar, who has had several item songs in his films including the very popular 'Chikni Chameli' (Agneepath) and 'Mera Naam Mary Hai' (Brothers), went on record to say that he will not have item numbers like 'Chikni Chameli' in any of his future films

We asked Katrina Kaif, who has Bollywood's most popular dance numbers like 'Sheila Ki Jawaani', 'Dhoom Machale', 'Chikni Chameli' and 'Husn Parcham' to her credit, as to what does she think about Karan's stance. While she admitted declining a lot of song offers because of them having no significance in the plot, she said that she has personally never felt objectified.
