Do we need Copenhagen to go green?

Question: Do we need Copenhagen to go green. Answer: NO!

It's strange how world leaders spend billions of dollars debating climate change and we get all excited about it, endlessly debating about their debates and decisions (decisions, really?).

Article continues below the advertisement...

It's strange, as the solution is staring us in the face, in black and white, or if you prefer more exciting colours, in red and green!

Do we need governments, non-governmental organizations, Greenpeace, experts, environmentalists and world leaders to expose us as greenhorns?

Does the government tell us how much we should eat to stay healthy? Does the government control what we should eat to stay healthy? No!

So, we can all simply take the initiative and stop cutting down trees. We can all take the initiative and grow more trees. We can do that to heal the world and make it a better place, for you and for me! Yes, we can!

Green is the colour for you to go grey i.e. ashes!! Governments have one SOLE interest: How to increase FINANCES. Do they really care about developing countries, or do they use the images of developing countries to extract money in the name of Foundations, Charitable organisations, etc? If they really cared about the poor, would we have problems such as the BT transgenic crop which has killed millions of farmers worldwide? Pray, what is the mystery illness with the textile workers? Let us unite.

It's not that easy as you advised... people are not aware of measures to be taken... they either should be told about them or to be imposed on them to take. For that somebody, preferably the govt or an NGO or some leader has to take the initiative. Copenhagen was a nice initiative but unfortunately didn't work out the way it was anticipated.
