How many members of your family cycle regularly?
I cycle to office regularly. My wife is a homemaker and she cycles or walks whenever she goes out. My four-year-old daughter shares my cycle on our weekend rides.

Do you cycle to work every day?
I cycle to work on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The other two days, I either use my car or motorbike. I cover a distance of 18km, riding to and back home from office.

What motivates you to cycle?
My commitment towards a better tomorrow is my primary motivation. Additionally, I have taken the initiative to convert people to 'go green', and as more and more people are sign on to my group, I get motivated to continue cycling. And, of course, the support I receive from all those around me.

What kind of practical problems do you face?
My stamina was a problem initially; I started by taking  breaks during my 9-km journey but now I can cycle 100 km at a stretch. I always carry a spare dress and change at my office. People who can’t shower and change at the workplace can start early and cycle more slowly.

What brand of cycle do you use?
I use a Firefox Bad-Attitude and my wife uses a Trek 4300 D.
