In a bid to create awareness of the Commonwealth Games 2010 among the people of India, the Department of Information and Technology put up an exposition on the wheels of a specially designed train called the Commonwealth Express.

While the train, on its 71st day of its 101-day long journey, reached Bangalore and attracted school students and sports lovers of the city, CWG Queen’s Baton Relay held in the city on the same day added to the country’s sporting spirit.
