DNA scoures every nook and corner of Bangalore City railway station and Kempegowda bus stand only to realise that no blast can jolt the security establishment out of its deep slumber.
A blast on the doorsteps of the Delhi high court that sent shivers down the spine of every right-thinking Indian and countless assurances from the powers that be to beef up security at all potential terror targets to prevent its recurrence, appear to have done little to improve things at the Bangalore City railway station.
Five days after conducting a reality check at the City railway station, DNA revisited reality and, sadly, found that apathy still reigned at the Bangalore’s largest railway station that receives three lakh visitors a day and from where at least 154 trains either arrive or depart daily.
