Yeddyurappa shifted to state-run Victoria hospital

BS Yeddyurappa shifted from Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology to state-run Victoria hospital, the DIG (Prisons) Lakshmi Narayan said.

His bail appeal hearing in the high court was adjourned to October 20.

Yeddyurappa's lawyers on Monday appealed to the high court for regular bail after he was jailed on Saturday evening when the Lok Ayukta special court rejected his bail and issued an arrest warrant in his name over his alleged involvement in land denotification scams.

He has been remanded in judicial custody till October 22.
