Opposition performing black magic to kill me, alleges BS Yeddyurappa

Chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on Monday accused the opposition parties of engaging in witchcraft to finish him off both politically and physically.

He added that he would not be cowed down by such designs, and vowed to complete his term in office, and said the development mantra would be his guiding force.

“I do not know if I can safely travel in Bangalore between Vidhana Soudha and my residence. I feel some people used witchcraft to harm me physically and also to finish me politically,” he told journalists at the Suttur Mutt.

Yeddyurappa said his fears were not unfounded. “My fears are genuine. The combined forces of the opposition parties have been performing witchcraft against me. Opposition leader Siddaramaiah, being a follower of former prime minister HD Deve Gowda, is well-versed in the nuances of witchcraft.”

The chief minister added that the opposition parties were performing witchcraft against him after several charges of corruption had failed to unseat him. “I cannot be be cowed down by such drastic measures. I will complete five years of my term as mandated by the people of Karnataka,” he said.
