Upalokayukta Majage suffers cardiac arrrest, condition critical

Just a day after being sworn in as Karnataka’s Upalokayukta, SB Majage suffered a massive cardiac arrest.

On Tuesday, Majage was rushed to the Mallya Hospital in a semi-conscious state. He is in a critical condition.  “He will be kept under observation for the next 12 to 24 hours,” said Dr VK Srinivas, cardiologist, Mallya Hospital.

According to Majage’s family members, he had just returned to his house on Ali Asgar Road after his first full day at work when he complained of uneasiness and vomiting sensation.

Majage suffered the attack on the way to the hospital. He had no history of cardiac complications.
