Two lovers committed suicide by hanging themselves at home near here, police said today.
The duo hailed from Kammasagara village in Kanakapura taluk in Bangalore Rural District.
The two wanted to get married but their families were not in favour, and this could have driven them to take the extreme step, police said.
The bodies of the man and woman, aged 25 and 22 years respectively, were found hanging from the ceiling last night.
