Police complaint apart, actress Pooja Gandhi still gets filthy SMSes

Kannada movie actress Pooja Gandhi said producer E Kiran Kumar has been sending SMSes even after she had lodged a police complaint against the vulgar messages he had allegedly sent.

“He threatened me asking to drop the issue after the crime branch had summoned him. He said nobody can do anything to him,” she said while addressing a press conference on Thursday.
The actor termed the allegations Kumar had levelled against her as “baseless”, “childish” and “silly.”

Gandhi produced the documents of a car, which Kumar had reportedly claimed to be his, but given to the actor. The car has been registered on the name of her father Pavan K Gandhi, but the address belonged to the producer.

The actress admitted that the proof of residential address provided while registering the vehicle was that of Kumar’s house.

Gandhi denied Kumar’s allegation that she was involved in several road accidents. The producer had reportedly said that the police used to knock at his door each time the actor was involved in an accident.

The Mungaru Male actor also refuted Kumar’s claim that he had promoted her in Sandalwood. “Kiran has not got me any films. I got offers based on my performance, and not on anyone’s recommendation. Kiran’s allegations against me appear to be childish and silly,” she said.
