A Bangalore based advocate has filed a public interest writ petition before the High Court accusing Governor HR Bhardwaj, Home Minister R Ashoka, BJP MP Ananth Kumar and former Lok Ayukta Santosh Hegde of conspiring against former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa.
In his PIL, HR Vishwanath has accused them of "hatching a criminal conspiracy to unseat former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa...".The advocate has appealed to the court to issue a mandamus to constitute a committee for probing the "criminal conspiracy" against the BJP leader.
The PIL is likely to come up for hearing before a Division bench headed by acting Chief Justice, Justice Vikramajit Sen on October 20.
