BBMP commissioner Siddaiah inspected the work of filling potholes and disposing garbage in Bangalore.

BBMP commissioner Siddaiah inspected the work of filling potholes and disposing garbage in the constituencies of Jayanagar, Basavanagudi, Vijayanagar and Chickpet on Friday night.
Intensive cleaning was done along the stretch from South End Circle in Jayanagar to Ring Road. Tractors, tippers and gangmen were employed for the work. The BBMP commissioner noticed stagnated water on the roads, which was resulting in potholes. He directed the engineers to give importance to the road's surface, road-side drains and footpath while constructing the roads.
The BBMP commissioner noticed construction debris lying opposite MS Krishna Rao Park and directed the officials to impose a fine of Rs50,000 on the person responsible for it.
Further, he said the BBMP would develop Lakshman Rao Boulevard Park. Also, he said Hosmat Hospital had taken up the task of maintaining the traffic island at South End Circle but it was not maintained properly. He directed the Palike officials to maintain the traffic island and cancel the agreement with the hospital. He visited the Srinivasanagara Kempegowda playground and indoor stadium too and inspected the level of cleanliness.
