Feeling a lost man, former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa headed to Sri Sri Ravishankar’s Art of Living Foundation ashram to seek the blessings of the spiritual leader to resolve the raging crisis in state BJP government.

The guruji did not disappoint him as he appealed to both the factions to bury their differences in the interest of the people of the state.

The state BJP has split into two factions due to hunger for power. It is clear. The fight between the two factions is purely for selfish desires. “Stop fighting for personal interests. Unite in the interest of the state,” the Guruji said after blessing Yeddyurappa, who had arrived with his former ministerial colleagues Murugesh Nirani, Basavaraj Bommai and MP Renukacharya.

Yeddyurappa said that politics was not discussed during his interaction with Sri Sri Ravishankar. “No politics was discussed. I usually come to the Art of Living ashram whenever I am mentally hurt. I am really pained about the way I was ousted and what all our own party leaders said about me during the BJP legislature party meeting. So I have come to seek solace and blessings here,” he said.

Yeddyurappa expressed the confidence that the DV Sadananda Gowda government was stable and strong. It would survive full term and all the problems would be resolved in the next 2 or 3 days.

He refused to reply to any questions on composition of the ministry by stating that the chief minister and BJP state president would decide as to who should be inducted in the ministry.
