Four men arrested for planning to rob, murder in Bangalore

The prime accused is a rowdy-sheeter in JP Nagar police station. He is involved in two murder cases and four attempt-to-murder cases.

Central Crime Branch (CCB) police arrested four criminals at Mico Layout when they were hatching a plan to execute a robbery and a murder.

The arrested are Mahesh C, 28; L Mahesh, 23; MS Harish, 23; and KB Vinod Kumar, 27. One of their aides, Madhu, managed to escape in the raid. They were planning to execute a murder in Suddaguntepalya in Mico Layout.

The police seized a country-made revolver, a machete, two daggers, hockey sticks, a mobile phone and a car from the criminals.

The miscreants were waiting to attack Jaraganahalli Sanjeev, who was their former aide. Mahesh C and Sanjeev had developed some differences in real estate business they had started recently and thus Mahesh and his gang decided to eliminate Sanjeev.
Mahesh C is a rowdy-sheeter in JP Nagar police station. He was involved in two murder cases, four attempt-to-murder and a robbery case. L Mahesh is his henchman and involved in criminal activities across the city.

The team headed by joint commissioner of police B Dayanand and comprising deputy commissioner of police (crime) DM Krishnam Raju and assistant commissioner of police SY Hadimuni and a few police inspectors conducted the raid and arrested the criminals.
