Bangaloreans, gear up yourself for a summer without power and water. Chief minister DV Sadananda Gowda dropped hints about the impending crisis by stating that he does not know what to do as he is finding the situation difficult to manage. Gowda said despite the government’s best efforts to ensure water and power supply in the state, there is a hue and cry about water crisis in various parts of the city and other places.
“If the situation is so grave at the beginning of the summer, what would be the situation in the next couple of months?” he said. Gowda said the programmes to ensure water and power supply are being taken up on a war-footing.
He said meetings were being held with the DCs concerned on a weekly basis, however, the people are still facing problems regarding water supply.
