Here’s a good news for the dog lovers in the city. The Bangalore Canine Club is organising a dog show, that will see canines of all breeds participating. The show will be held on November 21 and 22 at the Tennis Pavillion, Bangalore Palace Grounds.

This year’s show is expected to parade around 400 to 450 dogs which would include both Indian and foreign breeds. “Most dogs are likely to be of foreign breeds with a few Indian breeds,” says Stephen A, a member of the organising committee.

This will be a national-level show with participants from all over the country. The Boxer and Doberman specials will be the highlight of this year’s show with exclusive shows on Saturday (November 21), while other breeds will be paraded on both days of the show.

There is something even for the children who love dogs. The Junior Handling competition is open for children between 12years to 18years of age. This competition aims at encouraging children to learn the art of training and handling dogs. Children confident about their skills can also parade their dogs with the adults. The participation fee is Rs450 for adults, while it is free of cost for children.
