The cool weather and thunder showers on Saturday evening came as a welcome relief to the city where political temperature was rising due to bandh.
And Bangaloreans can smile as this weather will continue for the whole month, a met official said.
"A low pressure area has formed over West Central and adjoining North-West Bay of Bengal off North Andhra pradesh and South Orissa coast. We expect isolated rainfall in the coming days and good rain for the city," said an official of the meteorology department.
On Sunday too, the city witnessed cloudy skies.
"We expect generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain/thundershowers. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 28 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius respectively. Last week, it was 30.3 degree Celsius which may have triggered the rain," the official said.
"We are expecting more rains in the city this week and the next and it will become occasional after that. But the rains are expected to continue till November-end,” he said.
