Banglore: The crisis only seems to be deepening in the state BJP, what with chief minister BS Yeddyurappa's supporters openly challenging the Reddy brothers.
Food and civil supplies minister H Halappa, horticulture minister Umesh Katti, labour minister BN Bachche Gowda and MLAs SR Vishwanath, Muniraju, Sunil Vallapure, Jeevaraj, Lalji Mendon, M Virupakshappa and Valmiki Nayak held a press conference at Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday to show their solidarity with Yeddyurappa. They said, "If the Reddy brothers want a change in leadership, let them resign and seek a fresh mandate from the people."
They stressed Yeddyurappa completing his term as chief minister, and that only a few MLAsare demanding a change in leadership. They added that the issue would be resolved in a day or two.
