A startup delivers authentic Ramadan food to IT parks across city.
Iftar delicacies tease the tastebuds of many foodies but one has to visit places such as Shivaginagar, BTM Layout and Mosque Road in Frazer Town for a quick bite of the lip-smacking savories during Ramzan. Most techies who work in late-evening shifts miss out on Iftar delicacies as they are spread after sunset.
To resolve this issue, a startup company called Easy Iftar has developed a concept to deliver authentic Ramzan food in the most convenient way to those working in IT parks.
A team of four experienced entrepreneurs and students have started this catering service partnering with vendors from Frazer Town, Shivajinagar and BTM Layout so that what one can find in these famous Ramzan food destinations is delivered to the IT locations such as Manyata Tech Park and Electronics City.
Arjuman Amjad, who is a part of Easy Iftar, told DNA: “We have already begun catering to the IT parks and the concept has been applauded by many. Our team takes care of all the business operations such as web development, maintenance, business development, vendor partnerships, procurement and delivery.”
Easy Iftar has started off with three combos partnering with famous food vendors across the city—’Quick Bite’ which consists of Arabian chicken kalmi kabab roasted with mint chutney, mutton samosas with tomato sauce, Oman dates and a water bottle; ‘Snack Iftar’ which consists of mutton samosas with tomato sauce, Arabian chicken kalmi kababs, chicken tikka with mint chutney, Oman dates and water bottle; and ‘Shahi Iftar’ which consists of mutton samosas, chicken tikkas with mint chutney, special Mughlai chicken paratha pieces, onion samosas with tomato sauce, Arabian chicken kalmi kababs, Oman dates and water bottle.
To order, one can log onto Easy Iftar’s website, fill in the order form and list the name of the company. The delivery time for all the IT parks is the same, keeping in mind that Iftar is enjoyed at the same time across different locations.
