Bengaluru International Airport rated best Indian airport

Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) has been awarded ‘Best Airport in India’ award by Skytrax World Airport Awards, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The award is based on a survey that involved 11.38 million questionnaires, completed by air travelers from over 100 nationalities, and covering more than 240 airports worldwide. At the global level, BIA earned a special mention for being among the three airports nominated for the best improvement in one year in global rankings.

Established in 1999, the Skytrax awards are held in high esteem for the clarity of the process involved, the rigour of the rules followed, and total independence.

The results are based on unsolicited customer survey responses; there is no form of subscription or membership required for an airport to be included.
