Bangalore was put on high alert in the wake of Wednesday’s bomb blasts in Mumbai.
RK Dutta, additional director-general of police, said the police were on heightened vigil at all sensitive areas of the city. “Shopping malls, railway stations, bus stations, City Market, Majestic, Vidhana Soudha, Raj Bhavan, Bangalore International Airport and other hot spots are under high security. Cops have been deployed in mufti across the city and anyone found moving suspiciously will be taken into custody. Mysore, Mangalore and others districts in the state too have been put on high alert,” said Dutta.
