Shivananda Shivayogi Rajendra Swami of Kodimutt, who is known to make predictions about political, social issues often, has asserted that the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in the state is safe for the time being.
Speaking with reporters in Bagalkot, the seer said that though the government was suffering from insecurity engendered by its own MLAs, it faced no threat at present.
"However, Siddaramaiah should move very cautiously," he suggested.
He also predicted that a senior citizen will assume charge as prime minister after the Lok Sabha elections. Though he did not mention any name, he indirectly hinted that Rahul Gandhi will not be the prime minister.
The seer has often got it wrong in the past. For instance, he had predicted before the last assembly elections that a coalition government would come into power and remain at the helm of affairs till 2020.
