Look forward to drummer and music producer Ranjit Barot, who brings together diverse elements from a myriad of cultures to create a unique sonic experience - something he has been defining for the last two decades. He now teams up with power house bassist Kai Eckhardt (USA), pianist Osam Elelwy (Egypt) and Bangalore's own Ravichandra Kullur on bansuri, to present a seamless blend of electronica, jazz and pop which he calls Slang.

Banna Creations is hosting its year-ending Christmas-New Year sale this time also with a unique social focus. The sale will feature a range of textiles and jewellery with exciting new designs incorporating new styles such as Madhubani painting on textiles, Dabu and Bagru block printing  and fabric such as chanderi, mulmul, tussar matka and organza. What's unique about the featured products is that the embroidery, product finishing, tailoring and stone work has been done by economically-challenged women from Bangalore. These women have been trained by Banna's Social Outreach programme in association with YWCA.
