The BJP is opening tea stalls named after Narendra Modi at various places in the state, starting from Saturday.

“These stalls will exhibit Modi’s achievements as the chief minister of Gujarat, and his vision towards building the nation. Some of the stalls will even provide free tea to customers at scheduled timings. Many BJP enthusiasts and tea vendors have come forward to rename their outlets,” BJP state president Pralhad Joshi said on Friday.

“As the Congress has sold out the nation, we will prove that a tea vendor can save the nation,” he added.

The BJP prime ministerial candidate will address the second series of Bharat Jitao campaign at four places in the state on February 18 and 28.

Speaking to reporters here, Joshi said Modi will address public meetings at Davangere and Mangalore on February 18 at 12 noon and 4 pm respectively and at Gulbarga and Hubli on February 28 at 12 noon and 4 pm respectively.

“To invite public, our workers will visit each and every house of concerned district from February 4,” he added.

Clarifying that there will be no entry fee for public this time, he affirmed that collection of money from public will be continued under the campaign ‘Ek note Kamal par vote’.

Apart from this, all the elected representatives of the BJP will donate a month’s salary towards “Modi for PM fund”, he said.

He also stated that Inviting suggestions from public for party’s manifesto, he said that party is distributing forms at public places and collecting suggestions.
