Addressing the reporters, Commissioner MN Reddi, said, "We have examined the school and the place where the incident took place. I have also had a discussion with the parents of the children studying in the school and they have put forth their demands like stringent security measures, access control, display of id cards of employees and staff and increase in the number of CCTVs to be installed in the campus."

The commissioner also mentioned that the police department is looking at creating a safe environment for the students to come back to school. "As per the discussion the parents have agreed to send their kids to school in a week's time provided all the demands put forth are met. There are immediate needs in the schools that have to be set right like the installation of cctv, deployment of a police personnel in the school campus,"he said.

Regarding the investigation, Commissioner Reddi said, "The department had seized all the CCTV footages and are currently examining the order of the events on the day of the incident. Although there is no dark room as such in the school premises, the room with windows and doors shut was used as one. Such details are being examined by experts to find out about the people related as depicted in the footages."

Encouraging parents, Reddi, said, "Efforts are being made to ensure that there is no panic or fear in the school. All systems will be rectified and certain improvements mentioned by parents will be accommodated to ensure that there will be no academic loss to students."

The parents group have also tentatively decided to send their children to Vibgyor on July 28, according to a parent.
