It is only a few hours before the results for the Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examinations for Class XII and Class X, respectively, will be released, and the anxiety and pre-result jitters are quite palpable among students.

The results will be declared at 3pm on Wednesday. Students can log on to the website www.cisce.org to access the results online, or check www.cisce.indiaresults.com, www.cisce.ndtv.com, www.cisce.examresults.net and www.cisce.myschool.in.com for the scores.

To access results through SMSes on GSM mobiles, students are required to type their index number and send it to either of these numbers: 56388 or 52424 or 56263 or 51818. For example, if an ICSE candidate has the index number T/4331/009, then he/she can type ICSE T4331009 in the message box and send it. The results will be SMSed back. Also, all school principals have been issued personalised passwords to view all results of their respective institution.

The state presently has 123 ICSE and 18 ISC schools. Last year, Karnataka registered a pass percentage of 99.78% for class X (ICSE) and 99.56% in the class XII (ISC) examinations.

The ICSE exams this year were conducted between March 3 and April 6, while the ISC exams started on February 15 and ended on
April 8.
