Q: What kind of fashion do you believe in?
A: To me, fashion should be trendy and cool. I can’t go overboard. So, I believe in wearing trendy clothes and looking chic. I like sporting classy clothes and accessories. When I am at home, I am in a simple tee and denims. They are the most comfortable clothes anyone could opt for. As far as my shopping goes, I prefer shopping abroad as you get a lot to choose from. My favourite brands include Banana Republic, Holister, BB and loads more!

Q: What are some of the must-haves for girls who love wearing modern and trendy clothes?
A: I’ve seen a lot of girls sporting clothes that are trendy, which is a good thing. But it’s unfortunate that only few of them can carry them of really well. It’s advisable to choose clothes according to their personality and style rather than sporting something that will be too heavy to handle.
However, skirts and tops are a must-have in a woman’s closet. A pair of well-fitted denim is a must too. Whether you are pairing it with a party top or tee, they are a safe bet. Pick trendy accessories that go well with all kinds of clothes. But make sure you don’t deck up too much, it might send wrong signals about your fashion sense.

Q: What are the must-haves for girls who love to sport ethnic wear?
A: A definite must-have is a salwar set and few kurtas. Team them with ethnic accessories like thread bangles, brass kadas and jhumkas. Of late, even the jhola bags are very much in fashion. They are available in different prints and can be sported with kurtas! I don’t know how many girls would like to sport bandanas, but I think they are a cool head gear!

Q: Do you think make-up is absolutely necessary for women? 
A: It depends from person to person. However, going for a natural make-up is no big deal. Personally, I prefer the natural look. Don’t go too loud, and always pick products that go well with your skin tone. Buy products that are chemical free. Too much usage of chemicals will spoil your skin.

Q: What fashion trends would you like to see this year?
A: I think the retro look should come back. Girls of my age usually don’t wear saris. I think they must try it out.
