As the police investigates bar dancer Tarannum Khan's alleged links in the cricket-bookies nexus, which has already thrown up Sri Lankan off spinner Muthaiah Murlitharan's name, two top Pakistani cricketers also seem to be in the line of fire.

The police is now investigating whether Saqlain Mushtaq and Moin Khan met with a bookie, Deepak, at an Andheri restaurant.

"We are trying to explore the Pakistani cricketers' links with the top bookie," police said.

"The cricketers and the two actors enjoyed themselves at the Laxmi Plaza bar-cum-restaurant in Andheri.

The cricketers reached Mumbai via Bangalore where they took part in a benefit match with India.

Earlier, the Mumbai crime branch Unit-III questioned two people, including a Gujarati film producer for having alleged links with Khan, whose house was raided by the Income Tax department.

During the raid, the IT personnel recovered over Rs 30 lakh and property documents of over crores from the dancer's house.

Sources said that Khan had invested money in Bollywood films and financed three Hindi movies. However, the crime branch is yet to confirm the names of the three films.
