Minimum Guarantee actor Jaggesh has donned a new role. Jaggesh, who had encouraged many buddy directors to become full-fledged directors in Sandalwood, has successfully completed a film, Guru - The Silent Warrior, in which his son Guru played the lead role.
Jaggesh, known for gregariousness, had organised an exclusive screening of the film for more than 60 directors on Sunday. “The happiest moment of my life was appreciation by all the directors. They have complimented me for handling the megaphone aptly,’’ said Jaggesh.
Jaggesh, who contested for Assembly after joining the BJP as part of Operation Lotus, has said that all the people, including members of the Regional Censor Board, have congratulated him for making such film that has all the ingredients to cater to the needs of mass as well as class audience. Was it difficult for Jaggesh to handle the megaphone? “No. Not at all. I used to involve in all departments while acting in films. It helped me to have some experience in direction. I have also happened to help many newcomers. I face no problems during the shooting,’’ said Jaggesh.
