Elon Musk calls Jeff Bezos 'copycat' after Amazon acquires Zoox

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk labelled Jeff Bezos, Amazon Founder and CEO, a copycat after he announced the purchase of self-driving car company Zoox pegged at over $1 billion.

Reacting to this news, Elon took to Twitter and said wrote: "@JeffBezos is a copy[cat] haha"

Similar to Tesla, California-headquartered Zoox "is applying the latest in automotive, robotics and renewable energy to design a symmetrical, bi-directional, zero-emissions vehicle from the ground up to solve the unique challenges of autonomous mobility".

Earlier in April, Zoox managed to settle their lawsuit with Tesla after acknowledging that some of their new employees, previously from Tesla, possessed documents when they got hired by Zoox.

Back in March 2019, Tesla had filed an official lawsuit against Zoox and four former employees.
