Jadeja may not be victorious most of the time

His heroics may not be enough to resuscitate the sagging fortunes of his captain, both for the country and the club. Ravindra Jadeja may play saviour every now and then. But he is not going to be the elusive game changing all-rounder that India is looking for.

The Saurashtra left hander has an adequate horoscope with ‘Planet-Z’ in exaltation and Venus in its own house. A passionate Scorpio with the balanced Libra, he would try hard and give it all, but his planets don’t support him to become a great. He has come into reckoning with a flurry of triple tons in domestic cricket. But he will not be able to translate this into international cricket against top class opposition.

As there are only two planets in relative strengths, he would remain inconsistent; brilliant on one day and lustreless on the other.

Jadeja’s Test debut on an ‘amavasya’ day also clearly shows that he has sterner challenges ahead and may not be victorious most of the time. He may turn out to be the quintessential ‘almost’ man --- being on the threshold many times but just not able to deliver the killer punch. He will fail miserably in overseas tours both with the bat and ball and will not be able to cement his place in the Test squad. ‘Rockstar’ would do reasonably well from 2013 to 2015 in the shorter versions of the game, though albeit intermittently.

The Chennai Super King will not be able to power his Chennai team to title win in 2013. His performances would be below par in 2014 and in 2015 World Cup, and would then slowly fade away.
