It could be Kolkata or Rajasthan; MI, CSK have no chance

This could be the most open IPL ever. While some teams have retained their core, others have added muscle and teeth, making it hazardous to accurately predict the winner.

It would be safe though to predict the ones who will not win the trophy. Chennai Super Kings cannot make it three times in a row.  Lady Luck, which has deserted Dhoni has not returned yet. Sachin Tendulkar had the best opportunities to lead Mumbai to victory this time around, but by relinquishing the captaincy, he has blown away those chances. Harbhajan Singh has finished his karmic quota of success by leading MI to victory in the Champions League and a repeat in a similar tournament is unlikely. Very few expect Deccan Chargers and Kings XI Punjab to win the tournament; the planets too are agreeable to this.  

Only five teams have any chances to win the title: KKR, RR, PW, DD and RCB. Kolkata and Rajasthan have the best astrologically balanced teams. Gambhir has Uranus and ‘Planet-Y’ exalted; very similar to Dhoni. He has it in his horoscope to win a major tournament and this is his best chance. His excellent leadership skills will be an answer to the selectors who overlooked him for vice-captaincy.

Dravid has an extraordinary horoscope too and his chances go up a notch higher because he has just retired. The Ganguly-led Pune Warriors would fight bravely with available resources and can spring many surprises. Delhi and Bangalore may not just be able to give the killer punch as the teams are high on talent but are not perfectly balanced astrologically. So, the winner of IPL V should be either KKR or RR. And yes… you cannot rule out PW, DD or RCB as well.
