Inner Truth: Do Not Judge

Judging others is one of our human weaknesses.We sometimes do this even without sufficient evidence. We are often inclined to condemn people without realising that those whom we condemn are, in fact, masterpieces of God’s creation! Instead of judging or criticising others, let us learn to make an effort to discover the beauty hidden in others. There is no doubt whatsoever that every human person is blessed with goodness and beauty of one type or another. Reading religious scriptures will awaken us to this reality! In his Sermon on the Mount Jesus Christ said, “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. For as you judge so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? (Mt.7:1-3)
