Let the mind naturally become quiet. Do not force it to be quiet. Let it focus on a point spontaneously and naturally. Let it not be a mechanical focusing on the ‘feet’ or ‘the tip of the nose’ unless the nose or the feet symbolize products of nature’s infinite intelligence and infinite love and unless they are symbols of the experience of that love and intelligence. Whoever is your chosen God — the form which you like, as soon as you remember the name of that symbol, the intelligence of the entire cosmos must dance before your eyes. The totality of our love must dance. Then our gratitude should emerge. The heart must be filled with the dance of love. That becomes meditation. And this is how you draw maximum joy from it.
