5 point something: Things to learn from South East Asian hospitality
Hospitality
  1. Since women are far more efficient than men, they have women at the forefront of customer interface, whether it’s at the check in counters at the airport, or at the hotels.

  2. Their hospitality is the best in the world. They are courteous, smiling, polite, helpful and customer-centric. Apart from Leela, Taj, Oberoi and a couple hotel chains, we are nowhere in comparison.

  3. Their beaches are kept clean and there are no vendors or unruly crowds (think of the Chaddi gang that comes to the beaches in Goa).

  4. There are no cab drivers or guides heckling you at the airports and when you do engage one, they are considered to be safe, clean and smiling unlike ours.

  5. The food, drinks, hotels and transport is inexpensive when you compare it to India.
