Ever heard of something called a ‘mind gym’? Not yet! People all over the world take care of their physical bodies so that it remains fit and durable. Medical science says that we tend to lose our muscles if they are not flexed regularly. Hence, people go to various gymnasiums or yoga classes to keep themselves fit and trim.
Our mind is no different. It, too, requires a daily workout session. If we just let our minds run loose and wild, it actually becomes frail. If we get distracted too often by everything around us, then the muscles of our mind become fatigued and inefficient, consequently causing us to lose control over our minds and fail to execute what we really wish for or desire. That’s when we start asking why our mind is “driving” us mad, without realising the fact that a depressed mind is, indeed, a paralysed mind.
Those who succeed in life are the ones who make a decision to do so. They use their mind consciously to create thoughts of abundance and gratitude. They exercise their will power to manifest productive results. They get what they want rather than leave it to destiny.
Hence, we must train our minds to be positive and powerful and create a morning workout session of meditation. We must become bold, courageous and determined. These qualities have to be imbibed or cultivated by us from within, since no one else can imbibe them in us.
Once we begin this process of giving our mind a workout, our mind will “tone up” and we will observe its fruitful benefits like memory improvement, a peaceful state of mind, attitude of acceptance, positive approach towards life, intuitive power and more. This is the real expression of inner strength and the power of the mind. So what are you waiting for? Start the mind gym for a healthy, happy and purposeful life!
