Vodafone's city services disrupted

The voice and data services of telecom services provider Vodafone were disrupted in Ahmedabad for a couple of hours on Saturday evening. It could not be immediately ascertained if similar problems were also experienced in other cities.

Users in Ahmedabad experienced total network failure from around 6.30 pm to at least 8.30 pm. Vodafone officials could not be reached for a comment due to network issues. However, the telecom major confirmed to users on Twitter that services had been disrupted.

"This is a temporary issue, and we are working on it. You will be able to use services as soon as it is resolved," Twitter response to a user said.

Vodafone is the largest telecom service provider in Gujarat.
