Verdict on VS hospital issue today

It's been almost five year since the dispute between civic body and donors family of the VS Hospital building. 

The final verdict of the ongoing legal battlbetween the two parties is likely to announced on Thursday. The legal battle is going on over the demolition of the general hospital building of VS Hospital and transfer of the beds and its staff to Medical Education Trust (MET) – another sister concern of AMC.

Rupa Chinai, one of the trustees on Wednesday said that they are hopeful that the charity commissioner will make the things in right place. At present as per the resolution of civic body, VS Hospital comprises of 120 beds hospital for which the budget is announced Rs161 crore.
