During the investigation, cops found some of the stolen utensils from the residence of Sagar Rabari and Vishnu Rabari in Mehsana. The incident, which took place on Wednesday night, involved a truck full of utensils worth Rs14 lakh.

“We found that the missing truck was abandoned at Radhe Transport of Kathwada, GIDC. When we enquired further, we came to know that the gang had approached Radhe to help them in providing two trucks to Mehsana,” said MS Shaikh, police inspector, Odhav.

Police said that the gang had emptied and abandoned the truck taking away all the utensils in two trucks and headed to Mehsana.

Further, out of the total utensils, cops found a few worth Rs12 lakh from the residence of Sagar and Vishnu. While the remaining were found hidden in the fields nearby. However, the duo have denied their involvement in the loot and said that they bought the utensils from Alpesh Rabari and Chetan Rabari.
