Second round of medical admissions to begin from August 6 in Gujarat

The second round of medical admissions in the state will begin from August 6 and will continue till August 10. The Admissions Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMC) announced that the first round of admissions into medical and paramedical courses is over and the second round will begin from August 6. Students will be able to fill in their choices till August 10 and seat allotment will be done on August 11.

After the first round, a total of 245 seats in medical colleges and 743 in dental colleges have remained vacant. A total of 24 admissions in medical and dental were cancelled after students submitted fake domicile certificates. On day 1 of admissions, nearly 9000 students had purchased the PIN. On August 8, vacant seats of All India quota will be added to the present seats of Gujarat and will be added in the second round.
