All of Vadnagar is exuberant, nostalgic and emotional to welcome him. Every place connected to the PM's life, starting from the tea stall on the railway station he worked in, his school, a famous Sharmishtha lake and other places have been decorated.

Collector of Mehsana, HK Patel, said, "People will gather on roads all across Vadnagar from where PM will pass. People have great enthusiasm to welcome him and all of Vadnagar is celebrating Diwali 15 days prior to the festivity. All of Vadnagar has been decorated and illuminated.
