Two main accused in the LRD paper leak conspiracy were produced before the court on Tuesday by the Gandhinagar police demanding a 14-day remand. The court granted a 10-day remand for both the accused identified as Vineet Mathur, a resident of Delhi and Ashok Sahu, a resident of Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh. Police investigation revealed that Mathur was the main person behind the arrangements made to show the leaked question paper to the 28 students in Delhi, while Sahu had been arrested earlier in May 2018 by the Madhya Pradesh police for his involvement in leaking competitive exam papers. Police believe that through the accused, they will be able to crack down the entire chain and the mole through which the paper leaked.
