The National Students Union of India (NSUI) have raised question over the transfer of a minority school n Jamalpur to Vastral. The members have alleged corruption in the decision of transfer. Gyanodaya Hindi medium school in Jamalpur was shifted overnight to Vastral, claimed members of NSUI. They said that the school has been shut for two years now and the area in which it has been located already has two schools. Speaking about the same, Narayan Bharwad, member, NSUI said, "This school was shut for two years. Also, there was no need for a new school in Vastral as there are two schools in the same area. Also, the school which has been transferred has been given the location in a commercial building which is not safe for students."

"The school in Jamalpur was located at a much bigger land hence it can be sold at a great price. We are questioning the transfer order. On what basis, the school was given permission to relocate. Jamalpur comes in city area and Vastral in a rural area. Hence we have sought clarity from DEO."
