Payloads of Mars Mission and Chandra Mission, various components, devices and units used in satellites would be among the other new exhibits on display

The Space Applications Centre (SAC) of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has organized a number of programmed at the Kramer Sahara Space Exhibition (VSSE) to celebrate National Technology Day on May 16.
An official release said that in addition to the regular displays and models, a real size model of IRNSS satellite and IRNSS receiver receiving live signals directly from IRNSS satellites would be on display at VSSE on the day.
Payloads of Mars Mission and Chandra Mission, various components, devices and units used in satellites would be among the other new exhibits on display. Screening of 3D/2D video about satellite launch concept, including Mars Mission / IRNSS, would take place throughout the day.
The release said that senior scientists of SAC (ISRO), who are involved in design, development and testing of various satellites and their applications will interact with the public, especially students, and answer their queries and doubts related to ISO's space programmer and its benefits to the common man.
"An oral presentation for under-graduate students will be conducted on the theme 'Science and Technology for Sustainable Future' and prizes awarded to top three presentations. Spot quiz will be conducted every hour, and exciting prizes will be given to those answering the questions correctly," the release added.
