Standing committee chairman of AMC, Pravin Patel, on Thursday asked the officials to hold 20 per cent payment of the contractors who had been awarded drainage disilting and road work.

"After several reminders to the officials regarding the follow up on underground drainage work, nothing has been done. I have asked them to hold the payment of the contractors who are not giving maps where they worked," said Pravin Patel.

"We had also asked them to produce maps and video-graphy between two manholes," added Patel. Patel also said that despite several stinkers to commissioner Mukesh Kumar, no such policy has been framed.

Several options have been thought of to ensure that fencing open plots, keeping a look from satellite images and construction of a wall have been taken. However, open plots have been encroached upon and many a times people are been using such spot as garbage yards. To make them secure, Patel has asked the officials make a proper plan and follow up of the same.
