The accused appellant’s advocate submitted contrary to what was being projected, the sadhvi was in police custody since Wednesday night.

The high court on Thursday put off its order on the bail applications filed by Sadhvi Jayshree Giri in connection with two criminal complaints lodged against her at Palanpur in North Gujarat.
The 10th single bench judge RH Shukla was to pass an order on the bail applications, but the accused applicant went missing while on parole. The additional public prosecutor has now sought time to file an affidavit in court before it decides on the bail applications.

A jeweller from Palanpur, Pritesh Shah, lodged a complaint alleging she and her associates had cheated him to the tune of Rs5 crore and they had also been threatening him.
