Organisers of the first edition of Vibrant Shopping Festival announced on Saturday that the participants will win prize every minute. Also, 36 bumper prizes will be given away daily. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the show on January 17. Over 25,000 merchants will be a part of the event. We're going to launch a mobile application for the shopping," said Jayendra Tanna, president of Vibrant Shopping Festival Organizing Federation.
"Besides retailers, wholesalers will also visit the mega event. The participants have to pay a registration charge of Rs 2,000 and they will be given branding materials. The merchants will also get a chance to win prizes worth Rs1 crore," added Tanna.
"We got permission from the local body to organise public shows and musical concerts on roads. They have sanctioned 27 roads where we are going to stand up comedy, live band, knowledge series, film screening, skit, drama, and theatre activities to be organized," said Anil Sanghvi, secretary of Vibrant Shopping Festival Organizing Federation.
Also, 84 films will be screened during the festival. In the morning, there will be sessions of Yoga, Zumba, Aerobics, meditation, laughing therapy etc. The shopping festival will take place from January 17 to 28.
The organisers are claiming that the festival will be not less than that of Dubai Shopping Festival where one can buy garments, furniture, gold, electronics, grocery at a huge discount.
They are in the process to tie up with banks so that the customers can get 5% cash back after payment online.
